Long range attack. The "gain 5 minutes in the brake and then have your two stronger teammates fight with each other for the win until your DS decides to give you the victory" option is missing
Froome, Giro 2018Here’s a piece of trivia I have no answer ready for:
Name the most recent rider to win a GC from a long range attack that the peloton could not chase down. (Floyd Landis doesn’t count)
Cast your vote on the last option.I don't care! Just give me some fun racing.
Also depends on the race, of course. I would definitely be a little confused if Vingegaard tries to win T-A in an ITT.
Bernal TdF and Carapaz Giro are both more recent.Froome, Giro 2018
Didn't Bernal had long range attack at his Giro win?Bernal TdF and Carapaz Giro are both more recent.
I can’t believe I never thought of this!Hiring farmers to block roads and keep police busy so you only have to win a 5km TT.
This. Just all-round riders that are entertaining to watch.Climbing win + ITT confirmation
They are but none of them is a proper long range attack…Bernal TdF and Carapaz Giro are both more recent.
It depends upon if you are a fan or a rider. For riders the best way to win is based upon their strengths. Sometimes that can mean sucking wheels and winning in a TT. Not popular with fans who think cycling is purely entertainment and ignore the physical demands of the sport. It has been discussed what's the best way winning GC. Bernal's wasnt a long range attack at the 2019 TDF. He attacked and immediately a landslide blocked the Iseran
Which he did not know at the time of attacking, therefore, it was long range.Bernal's wasnt a long range attack at the 2019 TDF. He attacked and immediately a landslide blocked the Iseran
