Here’s a piece of trivia I have no answer ready for:

Name the most recent rider to win a GC from a long range attack that the peloton could not chase down. (Floyd Landis doesn’t count)

Also depends on the race, of course. I would definitely be a little confused if Vingegaard tries to win T-A in an ITT.

It depends upon if you are a fan or a rider. For riders the best way to win is based upon their strengths. Sometimes that can mean sucking wheels and winning in a TT. Not popular with fans who think cycling is purely entertainment and ignore the physical demands of the sport.
