Im not the one biatching about him on a web forum where the most effect that can be achieved is waste of space in a data centre somewhere

Better to biatch about other forum posters instead? Do those bytes waste less disk space than the bytes generated biatching about McQ?

True. People have been complaining about McQuaid for years but he just continues to toss mud. It has no effect on him as the fans do not employ him, the Fed's do. As long as Fat Pat keeps the Feds happy he can toss all the mud he likes and there is no accountability.

Why don't you enlighten us as to what would "happen there" instead of making titillating innuendos ..... but I doubt you will

Could you enlighten us on your experience with various feds???

What will happen if someone takes it through to Nat Fed level? Nothing (or at best your regional secretary might get a strange phone call).

Yes, I have been involved in pretty much every level of the sport - from marshallings a corner for kids races up to Pro level.
I also have worked (well, volunteered) with both regional and national level federations.

No association with McQ - just don't like the moaning on here when there are other age old routes to achieve things

People have been moaning on here for years about McQ yet it's made no difference .... yet the mud flinging continues

Please inform us what the old age routes are? I'm sure people here would be very intrested and would be delighted to help

And how far did you get with that?

If you are actually trying to be helpful and not trolling, perhaps you could give slightly more constructive information rather than six word sentences.

It's hard to take your posts seriously when you don't post in a serious manner.

I am not trolling just expressing opinion. Just because you don't agree with me don't discount my comments for the sake of it.

Firstly, I don't think you are trolling - I just believe you are wrong if you think going through Regional or National feds would get anywhere.

Look at this logically - what have the UCI in Switzerland or PMcQ or HV done at (your) grass roots or local level? Did you (or even your Fed) have a vote in electing any of these officals?

Sadly, there is a disconnect between Aigle and local level.

The Feds have no power. They each have a vote for the leadership....which means the Fed of Burkina Fasso has the same power as the Belgium Fed or FFC.

Easier to insure re-election and concentrate power in Agile.

I also need to point out to the OP that you have to have HAD integrity at some point in order to lose it. South Africa Pat never had any integrity, it isn't anywhere.

You are right of course - but I was quoting the press release from the UCI.

By this step, made necessary by numerous unacceptable public statements by Mr Landis, the UCI is seeking to defend the integrity of the cycling movement...

In the mid 90's McQuaid had set up a company called L'Evenement to bring the Tour de France to his native Ireland. It was successful in doing so but not everyone got to share in its success;

Roche is annoyed over 'snub' by organisers of Tour.
"I was naive. All I wanted was some sort of financial reward for what I had done," said Roche. The 38-year-old former cyclist even admitted he felt like hitting McQuaid at a recent FIC ceremony.

They eventually patched up their difference just before that Tour in 1998 and of course Roche was appointed to the UCI ProTour Council in 2009 - even though his own son (Nicholas, who is manged by McQuaids son Andrew) is riding as a Pro - but of course there is no conflict of interest there.

In the interests of full disclosure Verburggen should be public with his financial interest in the Tour of Beijing.

I asked you a question which you have failed to answer. If you can't or won't express your opinions in a serious manner then the only conclusion is that you are trolling.

The question you asked was "And how far did you get with that?"

If you must know I have always found satisfaction with any issue I cared to raise in the past. I don't feel the urge to complain about McQ etc - that's your issue.

NEWS ALERT:

McQuaid has found a fan.

On a individual level; pass the sick bucket, I really don't feel well.

why would a poster keep having a go at posters for criticising someone who is an embarrassment to the sport?

I guess they have an invested interest in McQuaid, other wise they would come on here state their opinion and ****** off to more interesting pastures, but no they keep on and on and on.

Defo sounds like a family connection. Refusal to answer questions a la McQuaid and full of BS and lacking any integrity.

When McQuaid does something positive for the sport without having a monetary agenda behind it, the clinic can shut up shop.. I fully suspect his needle policy is to get more money off teams, obviously in the form of needle testing machines or some such.

No, go back and read my post troll boy.

So lets try this again: What issues did you complain about, how did you go about complaining and what was the resolution?

Unless you can provide detailed answers I will have to conclude that you are: a liar, a troll and a sockpuppet.

If you have to resort to name calling that really reinforces your argument

Did I say I complained about issues? I am not obligied to divulge my input at various levels to the likes of you am I?

It's gas - you want me to basically say who I am or else my opinion does not count here!??! What a great contention!! Isn't anonimity allowed here?

Just because my opinion and advised methology in dealing with a complaint to the UCI differs to yours it doesn't mean I have to be "outed" or dismissed, does it?

Oh and while your at it - why don't you tell me how McQ was elected??

You've made claims, if you can't provide the evidence to support your claims then the only conclusion is that you are lying.

Pat, you've claimed that 'age old' methods work. You've made the claim - so provide evidence of 'age old' methods working, drawing upon your immense experience of success in influencing the UCI by going through your national fed.

It's very straight forward and when you won't answer and spend your time avoiding the question, the only thing I can conclude is that you are a liar and a sockpuppet.
