Basso was painful to watch at the beginning of his career, one of the worst bike handlers I've ever seen.
He's still nowhere near good, but at least he manages to stay in the peloton thanks to his experience.

Libertine explained it better than I could. It just came across very poorly, but I'm glad to hear it wasn't a joke. I was just surprised that apparently someone (other than Ryo) might try and "joke" about something serious like that.

Ryo mocking a Colombian, I'll include that on the list of 1% most improbable things than could happen on this forum.

Soler wasn't that bad, he won the Galibier stage in 2007 over the Galibier, while defending his lead pretty good on the descent.

hearing all the stories,i really think soler was unfortunately maybe the worst i was rewatching plateau de beille one of these days and he almost crashed in both alberto and rasmussen....uphill!

Rasmussen was actually a pretty good descender on his various long mountain raids. Soler didn't do so bad on the Galibier descent considering the firepower that was hunting him down. Other than that he did seems accident prone.

Lance is certainly worth a mention too. Aside from everything else it's no coincidence he never seemed to crash.

Evans and Gilbert are very good. Sagan and Renshaw as well. I used to think McEwen was one of the best. The worst are too obvious.
