I've developed a certain affection from the best placed rider from Curacao in the Vuelta. :D And the only

Honestly, actually deciding to ride for a tiny little island is just über cool!

I'm a fan of the Schlecks and Cav but Jeremy Roy earned my respect with his 3 breakaway attempts in the tour, that's heart and hustle.

oh man. Reading this thread again, I am looking forward to CX :D

Agree that MB isn't as good. I like it, but I tend to forget about it and such.

Contador has grown on me a whole lot btw.

According to Wikipedia which you can always trust... yaaah he spent a whopping 700+ KM in breaks in this year's TdF!

No wonder he got that Super-Fighter-Prize. And hey! He even attacked on the Champs...

I would have said Der Kaiser to but I didn't know if amateur counted or not. He should have won more Tours :(

I had to bent the rules a little bit to bring up Ullrich. I know boomcie certainly meant active pro riders ;)

Well as an Aussie I will generally support any fellow aussies racing regardless of team. Of them I have to say McEwen would be a favourite but there hasn't been much to cheer about this season. Other than that, well in try Aussie fashion it would be whoever is winning :)

That said outside of the Australian ranks Thor, Jens, Hoogerland, Vallis, Gilbert, Rodriguez, EBH, Roy. Liked to see Cav win as well but mostly due to Renshaw getting his job done. Not so sure I can be happy with him winning without the Aussie connection, certainly not from his national team

In GTs any domistquie who gets sent up the road and then has a chance for the win.

Then I guess whoever has the chance to beat the Poms and the yanks ;)

And hopefully next year anybody riding for greenedge

Gilbert and Contador are my Favourites.
I also like Samu, Anton, Purito & Thor.
I haven't seen the colombians ride too much, but would dearly love to see the young brigade led by Quintana and Henao succeed.
