Same for me - he came 3rd in the Tour last year and didn't appear on the TV once!

He's one of my favourite riders but you have to admit he does suck wheels on the big climbs!

I am not sure which race you were watching.

Stage 14. While Dertie Cont and Schleck were doing track stands Menchov chased by Sastre opened about a 40 second gap on Dertie.

From the live ticker

15:57:00 BST

Menchov now attacks. What are Contador and Schleck doing?
15:57:28 BST

SChleck comes through and sets the pace. I bet the Rabo DS can't believe his luck.
15:58:06 BST

Menchov is riding himself into the race for yellow. Sanchez trying to do the same but isn't as strong.
15:58:48 BST

Contador and Schleck are starting to ride now but that was incredible as they both almost stopped.

Riblon isn't far away. Can he hang on?
15:59:08 BST

Menchov, then Sanchez, then Rodriguez, VDB and Gesink, then Schleck/Contador
1km remaining from 184.5km
15:59:36 BST

Less than 1km to go for Riblon, he's going to do it.
16:00:17 BST

Menchov is really suffering but he has to push on and get every single second.

Probably evans tho not so much later in his career. but can you blame him with such the weak teams he has had? only be hating on wheel suckers who have the energy and have the perfect opportunity to use it, but dont out of greed.

Pazzato without doubt its so obviouse typical bludger.
Dont you hate them.
If you have to realy realy positivly have to do a turn at the front do it early in the race with time to recover and preferably down hill or in a tail wind.

Only reason Pozzato would do a turn is to get a photo of himself in the news.

I have told him to his face while he was in Ballarat and all I got was a grin.

Pozzato without a doubt. Mostly because Leipheimer, Wiggins and others could hardly benefit from riding any other way, as they're not actual climbers, while Pozzato wheelsucks so much he actually hurts his own chances and makes an enemy out of everybody he's next to. It's like Jan Barta 365 days a year.

Well, there's this guy called Bottle.

How did he get this nickname? Well, you know about little babies and how they just love to...

I voted Pozzato, which KILLs me, because I loved his attack in M-SR that thwarted the sprinters--the look on Petacchi's face as Pozzato won was priceless. However, since then he keeps following others as if he's saving himself for something. As somebody else in this thread said, it's the animators willing to take risks that usually end up winning. Better to try and fail, a la Chavenal this spring, than to sprint for lesser placings as Pozzato has been doing lately.

yes but if the press understood cycling and that people can't always attack then maybe they'd know why he 'wheelsucks'.
