Hoping VDB to win Tour is idle hope, but I have some real albeit small hope that he's going to win the Dauphiné! That would be amazing. Although that stupid time trial will probably prove to be too much.

Wiggins of course, being British. Best we can hope though is bottom step of the podium. No harm aiming high still . It would do wonders for British cycling in general, which is for me what its all about really.

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing Gesink as a surprise winner, and could concieve of it happening, continually improving as he is. That's despite the excessive coverage he gets on these threads.

[edit] scratch that, I can't really see Gesink beating Schleck and (even a tired) Contador - particularrly when they're there together. Wouldn't object though.
