I like to think Bernard Hinault is who would resemble me the best. Maybe not in pure speed or talent, but I am his size and I am a real SOB on the bike at times. I'm in my 40s and younger riders try to shake me and it p!sses them off that they can't sometimes and I get a real laugh out of it.

I would have to say Frank and Andy Shleck. Both of them I'm 6'8" 280lbs. So I might still outweigh the two of them.:D

This only happens when you and the younger rider each have race numbers pinned on your backs, right?

Good on you for continuing to ride hard.

Riding style Thomas Voeckler: Ride as hard as you can for as long as you can, then realize you have more than half of the way left to go.

In terms of height and weight we are quite similar also I think

I'm a Jan Ullrich!

Physically, riding style, eating habits (gaining weight in winter, loosing in spring), ...
Although this year for the first time ever I lost weight in winter!

To the OP the rider that resembles me most is Igor Anton. Only I dont crash as much. So Joaquim Rordriguez, Point being that im good at climbing, but possibly not at tts (though i havent tried)

Where do you do your climbing training in London?

I would have to say purito too. When I'm skinny I'm about his weight and can climb ok (if only I had the power part of the equation). Get beaten by old men in TT's

I dont do climbing training. But when i ride with friends up hills (you find some here and again around London) they struggle while I dont. It makes sense to me because i did a lot of cross country as, im about the same size as a lot of the best climbers and weigh as much, and did cross country as a kid.

I like my fish sans barrel.

My money says WonderLance is a Toto fan.

Toto also snorts the cocaine of excellence. And fights the cancer of who ever he wants.

Toto certainly snorts excellent coke and now rides for the Italian version of Team Radio Shack.
I can only wonder what was going through Commie's mind, when he spent all that time on that break with Perry Fedrigo.
Probably total envy: "He can have the stage, if I can have the nose.";)

If we're talking about build, probably a female pro. Don't think there are any male riders out there who are 160 cm high and weighs 50 kg.

Style? I dunno; I stand up alot, not only on hills but also if I just, feel like it. I prefer a few slow pedal-strokes to many quick ones.
I'd probably be some relatively unknown domestique. I'm nowhere near any of the top-folks.

I don't race - no real talent - low VO2. But were I to try I would be a small Keirin rider like Ross Edgar.

68kg for being 5'10..that's only in peak summer.

I would think that in some dream world where I was a pro cyclist I'd be best suited for the classics.

Heinrich Haussler maybe?

In terms of height and weight, I'm similar to Thor Hushovd, but I couldn't beat my shadow in a sprint. In 2007 I rode around France wearing Quick Step kit, and if I had a euro for every time some person yelled "Tom Boonen" and honked their horn from their car, well you get the point :D

That's a pretty good thing to be called if someone's gonna yell at you!

It was in July though. Still makes a change from being told to "get off the road you ****", which I get from slack jawed yokels here in Queensland.
