Froome should be lead and its obvious. He has been great so far this year and there is no reason to expect SBW to be better them him in july unless SKY decides to cut Froome off from making any more marginal gains which will not happen.

I like Uran/Henao but they are worse then froome at TT's and have not proven to be any better at climbing either. I do expect good things from the colombians in the future.

not sure how anyone can say anything but Wiggins.

No one else has proven themselves enough. All of the Froome hype comes from half an attack against Wiggins, theres no proof that he could have gone on with it. Its not like he followed up by destroying everyone at the Vuelta.

What has Wiggins done this year or last to demonstrate he is capable of beating Froome, Contador, Purito, and Valverde (maybe Quintana also) on this years parcours?

Watch other races than the tour and its clear Froome is way better at climbing than Wiggins. Froome has attacked and beaten the likes of contador/rodriguez/nibali on mountain finishes this year. Wiggins as far as I know has never even launched an attack.

The TT gap isn't that large either. Of the GC contenders froome can match or out TT all of them except for Wiggins.

4th in the vuelta was pretty impressive after a long hard season and considering he was facing 3 extremely good climbers with fresher legs on a climbing stacked grand tour.

Sky will be facing way stronger opponents this year then in 2012 and its extremely doubtful that even if Wiggins returns to his 2012 state (unlikely given his results in 2013 so far) that he will be able to hang in the climbs.
