OK It's not important for speculation. If he repeats this schedule, it's not easier to have more wins in February than if he debuts in Paris-Nice and races less races because he'll race only WT races.

Regarding prestige, Visma won less races than UAE in 2023. Now tell me, it's Visma's 2023 season with all GT or UAE 2023 season.
This isn't about prestige. It's about reaching 100 wins.

There are riders with more impressive palmares that never won 100 races compared to sprinters that did...

Yes, and I haven't even mentioned prestige, only the number of wins.
You're the one who made that interpretation. My first message was based on logic to calculate how much he can wind, and for that, the schedule is important.

If he repeats this schedule, he could reach 100 in early 2027; if he changes it, he won't maybe no. This is an important point for the discussion in this thread.

The WT win list is interesting. I wasn't asking about Remco, I was also looking for data from other eras.

you're saying less than 7 more wins this year?
It's very hard to see him winning 7 more races unless something bad happens to Pogacar

Volta a Catalunya - he will face a top level field. No TTs, so I don't see him winning any stage.

AGR - win
LBL - Pogacar
Dauphiné - 0 wins again
TdF - I don't even see him beating Pogacar in the TT. 0 wins
Canadian classics - I don't know if Pogacar will race there.
WCTT - win
WCRR - Pogacar
ERR - Pogacar
GdL - Pogacar

We often forget Remco has just 19 road WT wins (I included both ORR and WRR).
So, until the end of the season, he will just race 2 ITTs (TdF and WC). The first one is tailormade to Pogacar. It has a mountain (10 km at 5%) with a downhill in the third week where recovery will play an important role.
In the WC I think he will crush Ganna.

So after what I mentioned above, it's hard to see Remco winning races in Catalunya and Dauphiné when his climbing level is not good outside of GTs (and even this is a huge if).

Doubt Pogi does UECRR, and Evenepoel wins TDF ITT. I also don’t know why Evenepoel after altitude wouldn’t win a single stage at Catalunya

UECRR is in Slovenia so I think Pogacar will be there.

The ITT is in the third week. Pogacar is a different beast in the Tour when we talk about TTs. It's probably the only time he really prepares this type of effort (he has been training in a special TT bike already thinking in the TT he will have in the Tour).

Catalunya is a race for climbers (Vingegaard will be there). I only see him winning stage 7.

Not like Evenepoel already won stages at Catalunya…

You can't live in the past and one of those stages was the stage I told you he can actually win.
But the main reason to not see him winning any stage is Vingegaard.
I’m looking forward to the battle and seeing you be mistaken. I can also see Evenepoel win tomorrow actually, although chances are higher for Del Toro
