What, the Eneco Tour??? LOL!!!:D Have you seen TdF 2011? That's your reference. ;)

I don't hate anyone, nor I'm angry. I just like underdogs, like Rodriguez and Gesink. I suggest you stop taking things personally, it's not good for you.

Do you not make a distinction between liking someone and expecting they will win?

I like Moncoutie for example, but i dont think he will win the Vuelta. You on the other hand spent half the year up to the third saturday of July claiming wiggins had no chance at the tdf. Now froome and Contador are unlikely to win the vuelta?

Whats next? Tony Martin no chance at worlds tt podium?

There really is only ONE question:
By how many minutes will Contador win La Vuelta España? ;)

EDIT: And at witch stage he will take the red jersey :) (and of course number of stage wins, but that seems a bit off topic)

Im being generous and saying purito, froome or maybe even Gilbert might put it right on Arate.

Yes I do, I think Purito or Robert have a chance of winning this. I'm no sheep, who vote for riders because you read it in a magazine, saw the odds or even fear his peers are not going to talk to them anymore.

Btw, who was 1st and 2nd in last year's Vuelta? Hitch, you failed once again to make a point.

U dont need to read a magazine or consult your bookies to know Bertie is the most likely guy to win. And about Tour 2011: fatigue from Giro and crashes. Anyways, in regarding to Hitch's point it would be interesting to have a "who would u like to win the Vuelta" :D

No he makes a good point. What has Contador ever done in gts that people vote for him?

I think hes onto something with the people voting for Contador because they fear getting unfriended Cn Forums.

I think Froome will dominate the first 1½-2 weeks until he either feels a bit more fatigue from the Tour or Alberto gets into a race rythm that simply edges it. Don't think it'll be so one-sided as many on here thinks. Lots of great cyclists have checked in for this race as well.

Can't wait. . Should be a cracker - although a couple of the stages could have been created differently and not just with 10 minutes of matter in the end.

Who was the last Sky rider in 2012 to show fatigue?

Froome is a mere two months into his five month peak a la Wiggo, Rogers and Porte. He'll boss this Vuelta.

I think the course favors Purito. The one time trial is not a specialists' course, after all, there's even a categorized climb on it, and further, there's roughly 347 MTF/HTF's (OK, I exaggerated, but there are a lot). Throw in the fact that Katusha has all hands on deck (both Menchov and Moreno are there to help Katusha's leader out), and Contador's Saxo Bank squad isn't exactly one to light the world on fire, and I'm thinking Joaquin Rodriguez finally wins his first Grand Tour.

EE needs WT points pretty badly so they are sending nieve and i assume samu to the canadian races in order to get some

Nieve is not racing Vuelta as far as I know, and I dont have a rational explanation at all, maybe he has issues with the team?

Edit: Euskaltel is 13th at the moment, they are doing fine I guess?

Antón and Gesink belong to a different category. They deserve their own poll to predict who will finish ahead.
Actually Anton says he's in 2010 Vuelta form.

As yours truly, Anton thinks Contador doesn't have racing legs/undertrained and he's going to pay for it:

"Contador ha estado un tiempo sin competir que le puede pasar factura, pues las carreras te dan una chispa que entrenando es muy difícil conseguir."

What is Cobo's form? I haven't heard anything about him all season. Can he even contend this year?

maybe you didn't watch carefully le tour.in some of the big mountains stages he was there:) looked pretty sharp

of course i have no idea if he will contend,we're talking about juanjo cobo here, he's like weather at 2500 meters.

but intxausti said that he's in extremely good form and he wants to win vuelta for the second time
