Rogla's advantage in the GC is small but the ITT was an early form barometer and confirmed the Slovenian's pre-race favourite status. I don't think there's anyone in this race on his level and it seems only a crash (or absolutely terrible weather) can hurt him.

Eeeh probably.

At the same time I wonder what the losing condition looks like if he doesn't crash. I can easily see it happening that while he's clearly the strongest, he's also not centuries ahead in GC because the route isn't made for that, and if gaps are small those big mountain stages aren't so trivial.

Plus, I think Siena is still a very big banana peel still. He looked very sus on the TdF gravel, but yes that was against much stronger opposition.

Strade Bianche-mini is indeed a tricky stage. Plus I suppose he can actually have one weaker day in the mountains (esp. if the weather is very cold), which could jeopardize his GC campaign.
