Funny how Froome is now third best time trial specialist when a few years ago I thought this guy was awful on a TT bike. :eek:

Phinney #4 again. Next Olympics he's gonna get a medal.

Got a chance to win it next olympics.

finally showing some potential in the longer TTs.
He always looked great in the prologue but not really in the longer TTs.

@Vaughters

Excellent ride by Phinney. With 4 more years and more grand tours to build lactate metabolism, he'll win a medal.

Hard to disagree with that assessment. Great ride from him.

Absolutely great ride by Wiggins. Impressive. Not sure if a fit Tony Martin would have had a chance to win today. However, it is a pitty that Cance crashed during the road race. Would have been even a nicer race with him in best shape.

Congratulations to Martin, Froome as well. A nice podium.

Wiggins has had one unbelievable year. He has'nt put one foot wrong all year. Whatever you think of him, you have to say he deserves massive praise for the publicity he has given this sport of ours in Britain.

To bes sure, to be sure.

I am feeling for Fab though I must say :(
