When is the ITT? One website I checked had it down for Tuesday while another listed it for Wednesday.
Good point, with this long, flat, simple parcours he is in with a chance at a medal.Billie said:Bert Grabsch should be in the poll.

If it was a technical course, yes. But not here. Nobody can beat TM on a course like this.jaylew said:I'm of the firm opinion that if Cancellara really wanted to win this and he'd put in the TT training, he would win handily. However, since I don't believe that to be the case...Martin.

He was also 5th in the Eneco tour ITT this year.jamesmasters said:The stronger argument would surely be that with one exception Wiggins hasn't been beaten in an ITT since 2011*
*I think.

Dowsett beat Wiggins at the Giro TT and Martin wasn't there. Don't forget Martin had a broken scaphoid at the TdF last year. Would make it hard to hold position.jamesmasters said:I was thinking I missed out at least one, slipped my mind! Not sure about what shape he was in for that race, though...
Still, I'll stick my the main thrust of the post which is I can't see any logical basis for everyone saying this is a walkover for Martin.
Apart from towing the peloton for the first 70km or so on each flat stage he races.Bavarianrider said:Grabsch hasn'T done anything in 3 years. Totally washed up.
