Strictly speaking, I'm glad to be against general opinion here, given which this general opinion is on CN. What you call general opinion here Miburo IS capricious children who divide all the things on black and white, love / hate without impurities and enjoy from swimming in their own strong positive/negative emotions more than from racing. It's the 'general opinion' here, and you are one of the most its bright representatives. My stance is more neutral and it's a big deal not to be a part of 'general opinion' on here.

I think it is a version of Stockholm syndome. After taking so much stick about the Schleck sisters' failures, you feel a bond with Wiggums' fanboys and their man's failures.

Mr, I can compete with you in cynicism very easily, but I won't do that. For this you have many comrades in the clinics.

wiggo has his new PR manager spin some bull**** for him.

David Walsh ‏@DavidWalshST 1h
On human level you have to feel sympathy for Wiggins. He comes to Giro as big favourite and whatever people think, he has given his best.

I'm pretty sure you called him a sellout ;)
I suggested he was a sellout in a different subforum few months ago. His comments today, if anything, supported even more what I said back then.

Paul Sherwen transitioned to a new career with PR management duties for Team Motorola. This could be a new start for Walsh. Make it a menage with Liggett and Sherwen, and the three could form the foundation of a Wiggums cult. They could get Sky's psychologist to give free personality tests. Walsh could tweet the official color for Mood Light Mondays.

Official Sky fangirl twitter says he is bothered by a sore knee.

So which is it? Sore knee? Cold? Fear of descending in wet weather? All 3? Are his numbers still the best ever? Sky PR is slowly becoming...

Landis had something Wiggums doesn't: Balls. Big ones. And Landis could descend like a demon.

Game over for Wiggo, not enough will power.

Remember that you thought this the next time you call in sick with the sniffles. Then think how you'd feel riding a century in the rain.

I'll bet you'd be 4 minutes slower than average.

We all see different things. After several incidents in this Giro, I see a weak leader in Wiggins.

There's always a problem though isn't there? Most other riders don't feel the need to fabricate excuses. Just put it down to a bad day and get on with it. Especially after the contempt with which the journalist who dared pose the question that Wiggo had the same illness as Cataldo was dealt with.
