telling the european media where he is must really help in keeping a low profile...

Long distance TT would be the only way as I think the romandie sprint was a bit of a fluke. I'd have thought it would be better for sky if he went and did a shift as domestique for uran or JTL

From where Nibali attacked last year... the false flat part of Roche aux Faucons.

The Froome news inst particularly interesting but his decision to ride liege-bastogne-liege is when you consider he doesn't ride for training anymore...

Wiggo must be the type of rider every team manager hates. First it was going for a Giro win, then going for another Tour win, then going for Giro-Tour win, and now going for LBL plus Giro win and support Froome in the tour...unless he crashes out. :p

If Freire almost won Wiggo will definetely win. :)

The closest Freire came to a LBL victory was 11th, plus he is more explosive than Wiggins.

maybe he just was bored of all the journalists asking about his plans

wiggo and his managers are good at planning the season, don't worry

I repeat here again what I found on twitter

http://www.twitter.com/fmk_Rol

Cav could kill a kitten in front of a camera + we'd still forgive him. If Wiggo's pet hamster died we'd ask what he was feeding it.

Yeah he must do so many interviews that if his message goes slightly off it gets written about. Nothing has changed really in the last 2 months with regards to tour/giro leadership but wiggins cant exactly refuse to do all interviews and journalists have to find a story from somewhere

He can sprint. His team will ride on the front all day with 420+ W av., no escape possible.

I was saying about the 2012 Amstel since that was a scenario that Wiggins could try.

he's unexplosive. he isn't a great steerer or downhiller and he has never proven to be able to go 200km+

While mostly true, he did finish 25th in Paris Roubaix. That definitely shows he can go 200+ km

I think he improved a lot on that, and this year he is even better
Wasnt him that trained i don't know exactly how much,i think it was like 9 h/w before?
Now he is training like a real road cyclist doing 30h+/w

In the Olympic RR he did 50 kms of chasing in total, yet he still managed to only lose about half a minute on the peloton.
He still has to show he can compete for the win in classics, but he should have the required endurance.

not really indicative, he was a very different rider then.

I think it's pretty cool wiggo is aiming for the giro, will be even better when he - hopefully, unlikely - get's whopped
