SKY may or may not on EPO, like another thread mentioned there are three type speed, clean riders, dopers and SKY riders.

I thought it was clean, doped, Sky and Cancellara :p

Is today the beginning of downward trend of SKY ? Are other teams finally catching up? I always though if any team can do it , it would be Movie, Saxo or Astana

Certainly looks that way, Sky are finished. Quintana and Nibali have shown they can be beaten, Porte's win yesterday may be the last we ever see from Sky.

They should never have put all their eggs in the Wiggo basket. Should have kept at least one of the Colombians up front instead of sending them both back for Wiggins. Plus as has been said many times, the Giro ain't no Tour.

They are more Tour focused anyways though, I expect they'll put more effort and resources into Froome and the Tour.

It is a bit early to be giving the funeral, especially based on Wiggins, who is a fairweather rider. He is mentally weak. If everything goes his way then he is fine. A bit of adversity and he is liable to throw a tantrum or give up.

Sky is not Wiggins. Sky themselves have done the same level of domination (IMO), but spread it around a few more riders.

wrt the Giro: the fat lady hasn't even rolled out of bed yet.

This thread is an epic fail

Just a trolling again, what we needed is a thread to look at the drug, not an antiskybot troll thread,.

maybe?..............but it's popular

to me it seems that team sky managed to over performed last year
it's all downhill from here

think how happy that will make the forum......................and if i'm wrong
there will be laughing at another fail from myself

After today and actually also the previous days of the Giro, it seems like we are seeing the old Wiggins again, instead of the 2012-version. Still an assh***, but not strong enough to dominate the races, struggles and gets dropped by a bunch of riders on a climb yesterday, and unable to put any real time into the other pink-jersey contenders today.

Is only Dowcett still on the sky-program from last year ? Is Wiggins actually trying to ride clean ?

It would be easy to suggest that it's just the others now doping to keep up with sky, but for sure Wiggins just looks tired on the bike, nothing even comparable to him and Froome at the finish of the ITT in the tour.

Let's not forget that Wiggins apparently had a less than perfect winter. How many party pictures and similar stories were leaked, suggesting he wasn't quite mentally focused? On top of that, he's prepared for this race with an eye on the Tour.

So no, I'm not going to say Sky as a whole are performing less well than last year, when Porte and even Froome have stepped up.

So the stories from Wiggins himself and Kerrison about him being stronger than last year are more PR BS?

Did not realise Cadel was British?
And I assume Wiggins gets it from his Aussie dad.

Tell the Rolling Stones that. I think every tour they have done for the last thirty years has been badged as a comeback tour

The Stones were pretty hard on drugs during most of those, though
Not really a precedent, then ;)
