Yeah so the other day I was doing a wheelie on my fixie, backwards, in circles, without hands, out of the saddle, with my buddy standing on my shoulders.
Jesus, that's pretty good isn't it?!

Amazing control when they were standing on the bars and turned 180 degrees. Imagine all the time it took in practicing...

That vid has been posted here a few times but its still awesome to watch. even more so when you consider that they are just one team in a competitive sport - just how many people have that kind of skill out there that we don't know about?

Yeah. They must've used a lot of practicing exactly for how long they needed to pedal in order to get enough motion to stand on, say the handlebars, for a sufficient time!

Would those bike's be weighted in a certain way i.e. alot of weight in the rear of the bike for stability ... or just fixie's and some serious practice?? Any one?????

I'm not an expert obviously, but 'twixt the fixie and the unflattering leotards, I think there is naught but skill and guile. :)

zing!

also interesting is how they're already setting up soccer goals while people are still to applauding. at first i thought this was rude but then i realized that they're probably setting up for cycleball, an almost equally interesting sport if you've never seen it.

Given that this is a thread talking about how good womens bike handling skills are has it not occured to anyone that the men in this sport must have been even better;):D
