No explonation needed. Easily the first time im negatively suprised by Pogacar in 2 years. Super underwhelming performance by him. Really bad, no excuses.

Credit where credit is due, Evenepoel ate him alive. Happy for Remco that he won too, it wasnt even close, total demolishing. Easy to say that since thats what happened im not married to any of these guys.

it's just because I want him to ride the giro next year, it's not saying he would win.

they just need to give him a carrot.

He got a carrot like at least 3 times already for the Giro and every time he didn't show up or went home.

It's very clear that Remco Evenepoel prefers frieten instead of carrots. Stop giving the lad carrots

Remco was like a cartoon next to Tadej, leg speed was @50% higher! He looked great. Some respectable rides but nobody close. Believe in Belgium!

I was thinking this. I think he just doesn't excel in one day TTs. Didn't he get caught by Ganna in the TT at Glasgow Worlds? And that was a similar time gap from what I remember.

I will admit that I thought he had a chance when I first saw the parcours, but changed my mind as soon as someone shared a video of the course last week.

Very possible but the relegation would be minor.. Jay Vine really capitalized on his form.. He is flying. Del Toro rode well.. He stayed on the throttle the entire distance

I honestly prefer Pog when he doesn't win everything all the time. The peak of my fandom was World's 2023 when he got mullered by MdvP in the road race and then caught by Ganna in the TT (if people think he was bad today, he looked like he was going backwards then!). So I'm currently feeling quite fond of him again.
