You're new to cycling, I take it. In an attrition race, everyone dies slowly - some more slowly than others. Evenepoel cannot allow to the other 4 to set the pace, as several of them are clearly nearly cooked.

Pogi is going to win but it’s not like he stolen it. Sure he got some help from teammates and Evenepoel had 2 bike changes, but he still rode solo for an extremely long time. I think it could’ve been a sprint, but it will be a deserved win.
