I wonder if they'll open both sets of gates for added mayhem?
Surely opening more gates would lead to less mayhem?

At one end there is a loop that if it is not wide would seem to make it so those that don't beat those on the return loop would be taken out of the race, BUT as I am guessing it is wide enough to have a median (road works separating two sides or cones, where those going the other way can't run into the lead group?
You never know, if there are two open then the rider has to make a decision and some riders might change their minds last minute and decide the other gate is better for whatever reason and cause a crash by changing lanes too late.Surely opening more gates would lead to less mayhem?
There's a wall between them, a huge flag pole in front and a raised platform behind with a bin, lamp post and info sign on it. They need to come together to get down Park Gate/Park Circus. I could see it causing issues.Surely opening more gates would lead to less mayhem?

As is evident from the fact that the Chilean rider can follow his wheel quite easily. Or should we view Manuel Lira as a dark horse for the podium?I don't get the hype here. Any pro can ride a 200m climb like that in training?
....Somebody has to setup their sprinter.Remco and Van Aert are both on attack duty. So Belgium is solving the rivallery by saying its FFA.
Wait why is this in August?
