To early for Kopecky. Everyone against her today. They all know/feel she’s the strongest.
She also hasn't helped herself by showing it so early on, hard to bluff now. It's what happened to Deignan in Harrogate, she was so strong in the chase that nobody would work with her, and then when she blew up Annemiek was so far up the road nobody stood a chance of catching her.

If Christina had the same kind of sprint as her twin sister Kathrin (her legs are way bigger than Christina's) one could get excited.

So who will attack from this group in between the hills? Someone will attack, right?

probably having van Vleuten there makes the move a bit risky for the rest so it will be a last lap shootout

Kopecky could learn a lesson or 2 from Mvdp how to hide a bit until you make that one crushing move. But anyway, kopecky did what had to be done.
From now on she should keep everyone on a short leash, and there is still Chabbey up the road!
Would that have worked in this race though? Was much cagier as it often is in women's races. Kopecky has made it attritional and a select group, which is what you need on this circuit.

Deignan has been 18th in one stage of the TdFFaZ.

It is her only top 30 result since May.

She has achieved three individual top 10s all season (two stages of RideLondon and one stage of the Vuelta).

This is quite the turnaround in form for her. I know it's home roads and all, but it's absolutely remarkable.
