I really thought Van Anrooij would take it in the end, but Pieterse held on.
But still a very poor way the race was deciced.

Bunch of Dutchies. Bunch of Belgians. One British guy.
Why do I have a suspicion we'll see something similar tomorrow?

Okay, I was slightly wrong.
I didn't realise there was only two Dutch riders.
And I wasn't expecting a French guy.

The course is so pathetic, that Pidcock even has 2 bottles on his bike with him...

Is that position reason to disqualify him? Or is that only in road races?

Well I'm actually still not sure how tall Pidcock really is, and he did look an awful lot like a small boy while doing the Superman

I think his height has finaly stabilised at an actually quite respectful 1.70m.

Nice races all of them. Course is good for a change, superfast and same for all. Belges trying to wrestle Pidcock a bit at the first laps but..well. See you in the dusches! This and U23 races were super nice.

All routes are always the same for all. Some riders just prefer dry and fast, while others prefer wet and slow.
Those who prefer dry and slow might not fare very well.
