And it shows. Czech pils is some of the best beer in the world, however, you were decidedly in the wrong place for wine.

Don't you live in Italy? Shouldn't you sing the praise of Friuli, Piemonte, Toscana etc.

President Bush called Libya's Moammar Gaddafi yesterday -- apparently the first time any president has spoken to the African leader -- to voice his satisfaction that Libya had settled a long-standing dispute over terrorist attacks, including the bombing of a Pan Am jet over Scotland, the White House said.

In their conversation, Bush and Gaddafi "discussed that this agreement should help to bring a painful chapter in the history between our two countries closer to closure," White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe said in a statement.

How about Trentino Alto-Adige, where, in my opinion, they make the best Gewurtztraiminer, which goes quite nicely with a risotto alla crema di scampi?

And, speaking of political, don't you think it's such a tragedy that the Friulians are no longer allowed to call their white wine Tocai, but only the Hungarians, which is just so scandalous?

Okay. Obama is officially a warmonger. You heard it here first.

I guess the left in this country can now begin to piss themselves, for they have elected another in a long line of warmongering American Presidents.

All I'm saying is, give peace a chance. I mean, can't we all just get along?

Did it ever occur to you that a better case for war could be made against Gaddafi than Saddam?

Here are a couple of facts. There was just one UN resolution. He has ordered missles launched and there will innocent civilians killed.

I'm trying to argue as a pacifist, which now that there is a Democrat in the White House is my God given right.

War is bad and Obama was supposed to use diplomacy. He didn't and people are now going to die. Where's the condemnation, Red? WHERE?????

I'm taking my selective outrage out for a spin. How do you like it?

Yeah. A lot of right wingers were asking the same question a while back.

You see I detest Obama for no reason so anything he does (or dosen't do) I'll be sure to be critical to the point of vulgarity. In fact, anytime now Al Jazera will be showing pictures of dead kids. More fuel for the fire.

IF that is the way you want to direct this then be my guest. I hate Marathon Oil and President Bush. ( I have personal reasons for not being a fan of President Bush.)

It must hurt to see President Obama start a war. This coupled with the reworking at Gitmo must really ride you raw. I must admit this change we keep hearing about really looks like .....SAME as it Ever Was...Same as it Ever Was..... Look the **** out asshats ..President Obama is launching cruse missiles.

Wow, i of course have this forum hero on ignore (trust me, it makes this thread more readable) but since you quoted, im surprised he actually said that.

Like his bizzare paranoia regarding alcochol, this right wing conspiracy thing seems to be something he actually believes in.

His relentless attempts to tie everyone to the likes of Anne Coulter are hundreds of pages old.

I just hope Scott doesnt come back with a responce about how he doesnt care what coulter says becaue thats what trolls want. Just leave it Scott. Everytime he tries to pin the quotes of someone else on you, you should know by now hes not looking for a discussion.

Make sure hes only talking to himself.

Let's talk about all the innocent kids Obama killed today. Don't be a coward Red. Let's talk about war crimes and atrocities. I mean, you have been so willing in the past so let's talk about it now. Right now.

For weeks now the/your right wing noise machine has been *itching about Obama not doing anything about Libya..Now he did..I can't imagine what they are saying on fox..Surely they will be all pro-gadhafi, especially since Bush made him his buddy. So it is always.."better the devil you know" with republicans..unless they themselves want to oust someone.. SO, If Gadhafi was on the verge of using mustard gas or worse on the opposition this intervention might be seen as saving lives..I would have rather it played out with Gadhafi on the short end, but who knows..We should have not been strengthening his hand for the last 10 years. Thanks Bush and Scott

OMG, BO sound Bush-esque.

"This is not an outcome the U.S. or any of our partners sought," Obama (Bush) said from Brazil (the Oval Office), where he is starting a five-day visit to Latin America (whatever). "Our consensus was strong, and our resolve is clear. The people of Libya (Iraq) must be protected, and in the absence of an immediate end to the violence against civilians our coalition is prepared to act, and to act with urgency."

The bolds are mine.

Red, I'm thinking this deal with Libya might be the first thing you can't blame on Bush.

Weird, huh?
