My birthday is on sunday. My wish is for Nicki Sørensen to win. I consider it very realistic.
Well I'm sure he'll be the best Saxo rider, perhaps Kreuz can beat him...
He was 16th last year after all ;)

midweek shows sagan can be exposed, teams need send men up road, canondale will have to do much of the chasing no doubt bmc will chip in as always and will we see europcar early doors?

But sagan is beatable here if tactics are used.

Hmmm maybe. But what midweek showed me was that Sagan can chase down more than one attack on his own, do a monster turn, attack himself (get caught) AND THEN STILL WIN THE SPRINT! LOL.

So I think only a crash can stop Sagan tomorrow... but feel free to laugh at me if he doesn't win. :p

(Oh and I hope Gerrans can do it if not Sagan  )

Very quiet on this thread. Is that a vote against this race then?

I'm curious to see if Bouhanni can make any final selection. Highly unlikely I know, but if he does then he's in with a great shout.

Have a funny feeling that Gallopin might surprise. Just a feeling, not much to back it up.

Wonder if this will be just one race too many for GVA or if he can hang on to his outstanding form?

Beats talking about Sagan & Gilbert I suppose.

quintana is also an interesting angle hes proven himself strong, disapointed by lack of match betting myself which corsponds to lack of interest on here too it seems.

Interesting choices but hard for me to imagine any podium without Sagan. He's entered 7 one-day races this year and finished 1st or 2nd at every one of them.

I honestly wouldn't mind a non-Sagan podium but I just don't see it barring a mechanical or the like - the guy is just way too strong right now and he's already proven he can perform on this parcours. And the finish being pushed back only helps him.

Movistar has an extremely strong team and perhaps they and BMC can put him under pressure but I doubt it.

My man QUINTANA is there to help Valverde- his chances are on F-W

Big party at the moment at the market. :D

Should probably say Gilbert, Sagan and Purito for the podium, but gut felling says Valverde will take this.

Saxo got ambitions, so will probably see some fireworks from them, -to no use of course, but an interesting race.

Last night I had a dream.....

I was standing at the finish line and a small group sprinted for the win. It was taken by #106. Frantically I'm trying to find the roster to see who 106 was.

Fast forward in the dream. I weighed myself and I weighed 106!!

Next AM in the dream I was at a ITT and the winner had a time of 1:06.

So in reality the dream was about '106'. This AM back in reality my scale said 115, my normal weight and I just looked up #106. It is Quintana!!! Think I'll have a little wager on that lad :)

Unless I'm dreaming, I'm getting Pablo Lastras as #106....

Are you forgetting the 54th GP de Denain Porte du Hainaut? He DNF'ed. It's all over for Sagan now. His form has dived. ;)

TGBM saying he was inspired by the performance of Vanmarcke....

riding to the finish with someone slower than you but still losing the sprint and becoming 2nd does indeed sound like Mollema to me. :p
