Surely that's a BIT TOO MUCH help from the team car?

I disagree. Gilbert will have used more energy chasing back behind the car than if he hadn't crashed at all, so no problem I think

Attack after a crash with 95 k to go? Quick way to make friends in bunches.

Attack? Lol. Maybe Gilbert should grab his bike after he crashes and get back on it instead of grabbing something to eat and wait for like 5 minutes.

Just curious why BMC didn't send anyone back for Gilbert... Still a lot of race left, but to make him claw himself back that way seems . . . well shortsighted.

He had one guy with him before the hill started. But yeah, some team help would be in order.

On another note, Ruben Plaza wins the final stage and the GC at Vuelta a Castilla y León.

Rojas was, guess what, fourth again. He beat Urtasun for the group sprint.
Man, Movistar is on fire in April.

Maybe Boom shouldn't drill it on the front when favorites and teammates are on the deck? With 95k to go? Maybe?

So Boom has a lot of teammates in his group, yet he is the only one to take pulls

And Boom is still on the front.

Kinda looks like a triathlete in a SoCal Cat 4 crit. Just let him do all the work...:D
