Unfortunately...

I wish it were someone else, but AC is too dominant. It would be nice if a different person won every year, but no such luck.

i hope contador wins it because i don't like how Andy and Franck rides all the year just having the tour as the only goal of their season( expect liegi:D) and i think they're very poor tactically ! Andy is such a big talent but he should be hungrier to get more wins and not racing every race as a training! that's why i prefer AC, every race he goes he tries his best to win!

Bert. On paper Bert is a better climber and time triallist than Andy. He would need to be tired to be beaten, but although he won the Giro he was never pushed by anyone.

I assume AC will be too tired down the stretch which will open the door from someone from Radio Shack to pull off the upset over Andy (in the long TT). Even if he peaks 4 weeks a year, the fact that he spends so little time honing his craft under real race conditions doesn't make me confident that he has what it takes to take his first GT. And, frankly, this is his best chance to win the TdF.

It's hard to come around Contador. It will definitely be interesting to see how tired he is. But I got a feeling he will get into the rythm way before the all important last week.

even if Contador is feeling some fatigue after the Giro, and considering that he won the last TDF not at 100% shape- I think he's got the upper hand still, since his team is much better than the Astana 2010-therefore he can have his troops controlling the race while he recovers properly for the 3rd week when the real mountains appear...

I can't decide.

Even if Contador is off his best, he could still probably follow Andy for most of the MTFs.

Then he takes a couple of minutes in the ITT.

It will be close (unless Contador is just bad).

I'm surprised so many think Aldirto is going to win. I think he'll crack in the third week. And by crack I mean he'll fail to climb with Schleck, so he'll end up in 2nd or 3rd.

I have also been syaing he will struggle, and because it is conta I also think he will stay place high. But not win.

Schleck is the favourite imo.

Whatever happens there should be some good moments. Contador riding away from everyone after Il Giro would be epic. Contador getting dropped badly on mountains is something no cycling fan thought theyd ever see.

We've seen it. 2008 Giro. 2009 Paris-Nice. 2010 Crit. Internationale and Volta a Catalunya.

I admire him for giving it the double a try, but i don't think he pull it off given how tough the Giro was this year. Now if he were able to do it....

Looking at the percentages right now says a great deal. People don't have faith in Andy Schleck's ability to win. One look at him racing is enough. He's never shown it when it mattered. Right now he has only double Evans votes and sadly only a third of Contadors.

Kudos to the Orange army who are either being realistic or are asleep as of this time. Nobody has voted for Gesink. Can't say the same for the Belgian hope, somebody has been drinking the bong water and sharing. Two votes? I don't get it. I will assume the one vote so far for Samu was made by Hitch.

I agree with Damiano Machiavelli above me. AC in first, Horse Face second, Evans in third.

Contador all the way! Schleck can't keep up with Horner on hills, still dropping his chain and can't time trial!! Just kidding but I'm rooting for Contador, I like that he races in more than just the TdF and is challenging himself this year with the double. Have to give some respect for that...

Also like cuddles as an underdog, hasn't much chance to win but will be rooting for him to maybe be top 5?
