I can see only AC in yellow in Paris, but i'd love to see there Brad Wiggins. I think he can be 3rd behind AC and AS but I know everything can happen. Besides, Wiggo has strong team and TTT should give him some seconds over others. In highest mountains he will of course lose some time but i think he can win the battle against Gesink, Basso, Samu, Evans and others

Contador will arrive in Paris wearing yellow. Andy is under the misbegotten belief that he's bridged the gap to Contador in the mountains and TT's based on last year's Tour performance. He's publicly stated he doesn't believe that Contador was less than his best at the Tour. He was cocky, confident and especially assured that he would be parading into Paris wearing yellow but after watching Contador in the Giro, his world came crashing down compounded by the news that Contador would in fact be free to ride the Tour. What he thought was a given is now a yearly nightmare that he can't wake up from. His only hope is that Contador is thrashed from the Giro and just bonks on one stage losing minutes to the principles. Andy's public displays of confidence is just a mask to cover his realization that he will never beat Contador in a grand tour. Andy has to be hoping that Contador gets a 2 year ban because that is the only way he will win the Tour, at least as long as Contador is active and able to race.

It seems with Contador once he's on form he can maintain it for longer periods than is typical and even when he loses a bit of it he's still at pretty high level. Apparently only his allergies and CAS (not Chris Anker Sorensen!:D) can stop him.

psychological motivation....

So much for that publicly displayed vote of confidence.:D I bet Bjarne would've put Andy in the #1 slot if he were still his DS, just to show he believes in his rider.

the prediction by kim andersen is just hilarious.nice to see tchmil choosing vino for a podium spot.many guys already smelled christophe kern,he has the form of a lifetime, better watch out for him.
my cheering hierarchy:
1.vino
2.klodi-basso
3.horner-evans-contador
4.wiggins-kern-martin-gilbert(yep for gc)
can't fail with those guys, andy had his chance last year...

realistically, the battle for yellow in paris will be just between alberto and andy like last year.

Kern? Are you joking?

Even in his form of a lifetime he will hardly get near the Top 20.

we'll see...most of the riders in the peloton see him as the revelation of this tour, says l'equipe

He can be revelation but it doesn't mean, he will be in top5.

For him a surprise would be top10-12 place and polka dot jersey. That's all he can do

Cognitive dissonance.

Why can't I root for Contador. He is a specimen of a cyclist, he seems grounded, and generally likable. For some reason I cannot cheer for him.

My hopes for this years tour is that someone new steals yellow. Such as Jani, Wiggins, or {insert name here}.

I am sad no one will make an obscure prediction. Seems everyone is following suite with the Andy/Contador safe bet.

Should have allowed people to see who voted on who. I want to see who picked Wigans because that is funny and they deserve to be made fun of.

I would also like to predict a dark horse (Hesjedal, Brajkovic), but that probably won't happen.

If Contador and Schleck finish 1 and 2, it would be the first time in history that the Tour had the same top 2 for three consecutive years (I think).

If Evans wins, he would be the oldest Tour winner in over half a century. Leipheimer, Klöden and Vino are even older.

Wouldn't he be considered a "revelation" after his performance, not before?
