This is when it's nice to have a indoor trainer....can still spin out the miles.Tricycle Rider said:Still raining here, very heavy wind gusts... since I refuse to ride in this I'll just have to clean my bikes' drivertrains and chains. Even on days off a girl's gotta keep busy somehow.
(Also have to check my car tire pressure, have a feeling I'm riding a bit low. My gas mileage has been ****e as of late, at any rate.)

Ya they can be...anywhere from $200-1000. They're worth it in my opinion, but they never replace riding outside...for me, just during those raining/icy days.Tricycle Rider said:Those are a bit pricey, though, aren't they?
It was chillier than I thought it would be riding down by the river earlier today, but at least the wind gusts and rain (the latter I don't mind so much) are gone for now. I was pushing so hard on the pedals, man, I saw STARS! (My legs felt like lead afterward, but what the hay, it felt good at the time.)

That's the Pacific Ocean. the wind does blow here on the coast. but the wind blowing off the ocean keeps the temps mild in the summer. today however we have the devil winds blowing off the desert these are the winds that cause the massive USA wildfires in San Diego and Los Angeles Counties. I would like to farm some the wind along with some solar for electric power.Jspear said:Krebs the weather where you live is just about perfect temperature wise. I'm almost jealous, but then I look at the wind speeds...seems to be a little to windy there most of the time. What body of water is that?
