    There's a nice summary of some of Australia's off-track battles; http://www.abc.net.au/am/stories/s165340.htm

Which rider was behind "the doping central" in luxembourg?

I think even by his own 'confession' he was actually very pregnant, once, but only for a short time... http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/more-sports/i-doped-for-1998-tour-de-france-confesses-australian-cycling-star-stuart-ogrady/story-fnibbyyv-1226684658992

Indeed - it was the least convincing 'confession' ever (and we all know how low the bar is set for cycling doping confessions...).

    Geert Leinders

and they had also hired Matty Hayman and Flecha from Robobank, both for their road knowledge/experience. Any normal position in any position of responsibility would have even a basic chat with 2 key guys who'd worked with Leinders beforehand (assuming they weren't actually the ones promoting...

Richie Porte - what do we know about him?

Looks like the new marginal gain for 2015? New girlfriend inspires Porte to GT win? His book, The ResErection due out 2016.

How will Jens Voigt prepare his hour record attempt ?

Once he finds out that it's actually laps of the track which are used to calculate the distance covered, he'll need to change his strategy anyway! He's always a complete mess on the bike and will probably being doing an extra 2 or 3m per lap...

At what point does it become acceptable to discuss the elephant that is...

He sure does - whatever the Bontrager Team is called now (Bissell Development, maybe?). With his experience from team's like Motorola, Polti, Phonak and T-Mobile, it's not hard to imagine the wealth of knowledge he brings to young aspiring athletes! It worked well for Sean Yates (and still...

    Hincapie confession?

I thought I got his point, before the sarcasm? Winners, are win-at-all-costs kind of people. Winning is everything and any means will justify the end. Whether it's sitting on a wheel for the last 5km, lead-out trains sitting up and boxing-in other riders, buying races, or topping-up your...

    Hincapie confession?

Just like Allan Peiper's strategy as an amateur (from his book) - he'd do deals with everyone and sprint anyway. If he won, he'd keep the 1st prize. If he lost, he'd get paid by the 'winner'. Peiper was not alone in this strategy!

    USA Pro Challenge

Indeed, blood doping does make your blood thicker, which would mean it would coagulate more quickly (ie stop bleeding). Avoiding giving non-negative doping controls when you're blood doping, involves thinning your blood (either through volume, or using anticoagulents like warfarin). If you're...

    USA Pro Challenge

Yep, a bit of a pest, but would it be enough for a DNF? I've never tried racing with a nosebleed - would your elevated blood pressure turn a small nosebleed into a genuine problem? Given the racing that SKY have given Dombrowski this year, I'd have thought he'd be going full gas to show he...

    USA Pro Challenge

I'm surpised (given the level of paranoia generally on display here) that nobody seems to have commented on this story? http://http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/dombrowski-withdraws-from-usa-pro-challenge It may well be completely innocent, but even from pretty knowledge of nosebleeds, there...
