not from what it sounds like on TwitterWouter Wippert retires at 29. Would be surprised if he was unable to find a contract somewhere, so maybe his decision?
Niki Terpstra? There's a guy who really benefited from riding in the same team as Boonen.
To be fair, Stetina was becoming a bit of a super domestique before his crash. There were a number of occasions he was climbing almost as well as his team leads.Peter Stetina leaves WT to ride gravel etc. Glad there's another route available, as it were, for him. He wasn't quite good enough to win at the WT level (and had a bad, bad crash), but if he can put together a living off the road, chapeau!
Yes he is. He wanted to stop after riding a gt in 2020, but his injury was too severe. Here is a link to Daniele Bennati's Instagram. It sounds like he is retiring.

Really really wanted to like him based on his interviews about being a local Liverpool lad who didn't like the BC/sky way but couldn't warm to him no matter how hard I triedCummings retires.
One of the riders I will miss the least.
Can't say I'm too surprised. Gonna be a bit strange to not see him at the back of the peloton of every race he's in, though.Cummings retires.

Well, technically, you would still see him at the back of the peloton of every race he's in...Can't say I'm too surprised. Gonna be a bit strange to not see him at the back of the peloton of every race he's in, though.
Not on his bike.Well, technically, you would still see him at the back of the peloton of every race he's in...
Well, yes, because "every race he's in" is the equivalent of no races - an empty set.Not on his bike.

I do find that quite likely, yes
And if I'd excluded the "he's in" bit, you'd have made some comment about how he wasn't at the back of the peloton in every race.
