Ciccone, Powless and so on on the attack now in Piemonte. Kooij was dropped early on the climb and is already ~2 minutes behind

Front group looks good, fairly sizeable and flat open terrain with plenty of motivation. Even if other sprinters come back they will have few teammates left.

a big group just made it back to the peloton, potentially including most sprinters

edit: or not? That's what the ticker said, but the peloton still looks small

edit 2: yep, seems like the chase groups joined together, but that's it

Mad that nobody wants to help Intermarché, especially when it's a name like Mihkels who's being pulled for. Will come back together at this rate.

now Movistar and EF have joined in. Tissot has most names, seems like there aren't many quick guys in there indeed. Strong, Mihkels, Cortina, Bettiol, Testazion. Mohoric will give it a go as well, I guess

EF and Bora could have killed this off a while ago had they started pulling earlier, looks good for the first group again but they will have less riders left for the finale.

I was surprised that ISN was riding for Strong - Impey would be the fastest from this group.
