It was a strong ride by Chavez as it's hard to attack the Ineos train with 7kms to go - Chaves looks 2 to 3 kgs lighter which undoubtedly helps his performance.

Strong showing by Chaves. Not easy to stay ahead of Ineos train at high speed. Today's finale was less interesting as ridiculously strong Ineos neutralised most attacks. Adam Yates' life can't be any better if his domestiques are a Tour winner, a Giro winner and a Tour podium finisher! No wonder Chris left: his domestiques became too strong and he wouldn't qualify even for a bidon delivery role!
