Well I am rooting for my BMC boys although I'd love to see Nibbles win as well.

BMC working for Gilbert already by the looks of things. A bit premature but never mind.

Guys in the peloton having an afternoon snack and making eyes at each other. Things looking more and more positive for Neebs.

If he can start the flat with 2 minutes or so I'd give him a better than 50% chance of surviving.

EDIT: As I write the gap has started coming down rather than grow :(

If the likes of Gilbert and Anton go on the last climb they can take back 30 seconds, when he's over the climb alone Nibali will win. They will have to pull back at least a minute in 25 km and I don't see it happening.

a peloton of 30+ vs 1 guy on the flat, and you can't see 1 minute in 25km.

Well, it's a new perspective, I'll give you that.

Bloody BMC they don't even have a current rider who can win. Why are they chasing so hard!

Because they are a team that doesn't sit at the back and do nothing like Rabobank atm. They try and BMC and I believe that GVA and Santa can do the job.
