Cancellara proves two things again:
He's a machine.
His team can't do jack to support his ambitions.

The sad part about it is he's going to kill it for Andy in the TTT in July.

I can't wait for all the Cancellara's trash bashing on Garmin:D

Really, he has no complaint. If Van Summeren would have finished 5th, he would have a point. The fact that he won it says all it needs to about Garmin not helping him make the front group. In fact, his finish getting 2nd shows that it would have been stupid for them to significantly help him (though at times it was hard to tell whether they were or not).

Nah, if he hadn't been stupid when he was off the front with Hushovd and Ballan he might have won today.

No way...that was way too far...the effort would have been too much...
Glad he cut his losses and got 2nd!!!

+1

Even though many of us find it hard to acknowledge "wheel-sucking", we gotta admit it was justified. Amazing ride from Vansummeren, absolutely deserving!

Hats off to all of top5!

again, hushovd had a teammate up front, who happened to win the race. why would he work to catch him?

You wouldn't. Some people don't seem to understand that simple fact. (obviously you do)

Yep. I think that was the difference this year. His team wasn't strong enough to control matters.

Vansummeren deserved that by aggresive riding so well done to him.
Hushovd was lame so I'm glad he didnt win. He even got burned off by an HTC rider at the end.
