Vanmarcke and Boom behind the peloton...puncture?

Yes. For SVM at least.

Ridiculous luck.

Ridiculous car pacing.

Or is it only ridiculous when FDJ allegedly do it?
I think for many there's a difference between being dropped due to a mechanical and being dropped because you can't keep the pace.

The both of them probably puncture three times a race at least. Look up bad luck in the dictionary and a picture of Boom and Vanmarcke will be the first thing you see...

They might have well changed bikes because the first cobbles were coming. First part on a normal bike and now on their cobbled bike.

why isn't juul-jensen racing? I thought he left tinkoff to be a leader in the cobbled classics

Broke his wrist during MSR. Last year! Only got surgery in October...
He rode Pais Vasco instead, because obviously that's easier for your wrist.
He also changed teams just as much to try something new.

Back to the race. Is a breakaway ever going to get over a minute?

The peloton will stop chasing if Erviti drops from the break

Spot on. With all due respect, I don't think Juul-Jensen is better on the cobbles than Keukeleire.

Why is sky at the front of the peloton if they have a man in the break?

They are probably too obsessed with sky train. Hopefully are the riders not tortured offseason.

Kolar and Juraj Sagan surprised me, I thought they wanted to compete with Flecha yesterday instead of abandon today.

Just for good positioning for the cobbled sections. When they're on the front they aren't actually riding that hard at all.

Lars Boom? ill?

maybe allergy?

Too early in the year I'd have thought for allergies?
Hell no :(

Wait, by allergies we mean pollen and dust or all allergies? I only get the former from end of May to end of July. I know it is possible to get it in april or so, but isn't it rarer?
Pollen I get as early as February in Germany, lasts pretty much until late summer.

At Sporza they now say it's been confirmed that Boom is ill.
