Belgium thinking this is '11 Gilbert. How do they even think Gilbert even has a chance at this point?

Peloton played it right to Sagan's hand. Belgium, Spain and France wanted it fought out on the last uphill too much. It's all fun and games to put some guys on the break but what's it worth if you're going to chase them down because they're not your main guys? I hope Sagan keeps on winning and winning and winning in situations like these.

Does Sagan get to wear a European Champ. jersey?

Not until after Doha. If he wins the WC again the WC jersey takes priority. But yes, there is a jersey.

Alaphilippe is the only ones who realistically could challenge Sagan in a sprint (not really, still, on this climb which is absolutely perfect for Sagan). Belgium really is a joke - I could understand it if it was GVA, who seems to be the only one able to get the better of Sagan on a consistent basis, but Phil Gil 2016? Seriously?

What is it with you people? If GVA doesn't work as much as Sagan to then beat him in a sprint he's called a wheelsucker... If a rider does work with Sagan he's called dumb... It's one or the other... Pick one.

Apples and oranges.

I don't think anyone is accusing GVA of riding stupidly - quite the contrary. So there's no need to "pick one" as it's not "one or the other"

Gilbert wanting to be the boss like always. Still thinking we're living in 2011.

Other countries the same. You just don't go with Sagan to a sprint. Only Van Avermaet can match him, and even then it has to be an extremely tough race.

Looking back, Sagan was totally on a class of his own.
Disappointing race by Spain, Belgium and Poland.
Great ride from Italy, but Colbrelli really disappointed there. A pity the tractor Moscon had a fall.

Excellent race, could've been a bit more selective maybe, but great race nonetheless.

GvA can only beat Sagan when he's done much less work than him.

Nothing stupid about that though. You race to win.
