it was non-existent. they didn't come on air until about 15 minutes ago and only had a camera at the finish line.

Anyway, I'm anxious to see how the ITT turns out, and is AC allowed to start with his originally planned one?

Kudos to the champ.

It would have been a serious red flag if Astana went into the red trying to chase down a break when the closest man on GC was 5:11 down from AC. I was surprised that none of the other teams (say Caisse or Columbia or Katusha) didn't mount an earlier effort to pull them back so that they could have something to show for this stage race. That's what I was expecting to happen.
karlboss said:Astana did exactly as they should, control GC...why chase so HTC can win something else? With bonus seconds it makes even more sense to deliberately leave a break away.

They were pathetic today. Nearest rider to AC almost seventy riders away. No protection. Two riders at sucking end of the main group and a DNF.
The entire Radio Shack team finished ahead of the second Astana rider. I'm telling you the entire team blew up getting AC into position yesterday. They have nothing left. Damn good thing this is almost over.
Twenty first in the teams classification, and the TT bike fiasco? This does not look good. They suck.

Portugese riders classification
1 Tiago Machado (Por) Team RadioShack
2 Rui Costa (Por) Caisse d'Epargne
3 Sergio Paulinho (Por) Team RadioShack
I like to see it when "homeboys" win their Country's races!
So, how does Tiago TT?

I'm expecting an absolute maximum effort by Contador in the ITT. He will want to win the GC as his part in rewarding all the hard work by his team. There is of course the bike issue...
On the other hand, Radio Shack seems to have had some plans so maybe Levi held back a bit on Stage 3 with the intent of showing up big in the ITT. Then again, he is 36 so his 2008 Vuelta ITT against Contador is probably not going to happen again.

Tiago will get to wear his Home Town Advantage
Portugese National TT Jersey presented by RadioShack.
Spanish TT Champ versus the Portugese TT Champ.
Hope neither will need an in-race wheel change
