Indeed, the Tour hasn't even begun yet.

Does look like the Belgian Mob is blowing their horn too early

And secondly, the Tour doesn't really start til week 3 anyway.

It was Thomas not Wiggins who was up there.

I definitely saw two black Sky jerseys in the top 10. I don't think G was up there, his strip is very distinctive.

don't exaggerate, were just discussing what happened.

No worse then your Hissy fit over Evans prologue yesterday ;)

This situation has more cause of concern, and I can't speak for the others but I am not to worried about this (as my previous posts have suggested). Discussing race events as such is expected, no?

I understand.;)

The Dutch GC candidate for the tdf fell behind and secondly a belgian won.:D

Yes, this. If they take him to the tour as their sprinter again I'll hate them forever.

He can sprint, however. He's just in an awkward position of discovering he may well be the 15th best in the world at an awful lot of things, and yet to work out which direction to focus in.

I've no problem with him sprinting, as long as he continues to ride seriously in other situations when the opportunity arises, like today.

He's already whining on twitter over VDB's win and Vino is in yellow. Let him have this little thing. :p

To be honest EBH is just a superstar.

wow surprised VDB wasnt like the other tour favorites and didnt conserve his energy. Good ride by cadel but he was too far back when jrod attack. A bit worried about the team support, they should not have killed themselves so early. Where on earth was morabito, dont think he has good form.

You got to go with the opportunism some guys are showing here.
Gesink is now a TT specialist that can't climb.
Vandenbroeck will win the Tour based on today
And Ruijgh is now the best climber in the Netherlands.

Simple as that

Hah, that would be great but I'll be amazed if it happens. There's an awful lot of climbing in that ITT for Wiggo, and I think it may be a little long for EBH, but we'll have to wait and see.

The Dauphine tt was longer last year and i think steve ebh came like top 5 then.

Eddy was raised on 8 hour training rides, and all his best results are from long stages - don't buy in to this utterly unevidenced myth that he likes things short.

My only concern about Gesink is that we were becoming concerned about his climbing, back at Tirreno/Pais Vasco.
Has he adopted the Andy Schleck, climb once a year method, or has improving his trialing taken his mountain edge?

Yes, but it is kind of worrying, cause the form he has shown this year when climbing (besides Green Mountain), when the TdF is so close.

On the Green Mountain he didn't have any real climbing opposition so you can't really judge if he climbed well that day.

I've been among the people that worry about Gesinks climbing this year, but I'm convinced he didn't try today. When Garate went off the front Gesink took over with LuLu Sanchez in his wheel. When some big guns went Lulu jumped to their wheels and Gesink just kept on pedalling.

I'm pretty confident he didn't try today. And imo that's positive regarding the TDF. I don't want him to do it in T-A or Basque Tour, but right now the TdF is coming near.

I think it was a wrong reuslt with Thomas. It defintely wasn't Thomas British champion Jersey in Top 10. Looked like Uran more like. But surprised Sky got 2 in top 10 in such a stage. good result for them.

Yeah, I thought I saw the GB jersey roll in quite a while after the first group.
