I hope Jurgen does a great job tomorrow and then shows them up on the climbs over the weekend, winning the GC. Alternatively, Purito could be that man, but I'm not even going to think about him losing less than three minutes. Maybe Brajkovic, but I don't see him as wanting to win. Evans vs Vino I guess, unless they softpedal enough for Wiggins to hold on

But will evans, vino + vdb really push it?

they all (or at least think they do) have bigger fish to fry in a few weeks time.

Vino will. Cuddles will probably be stupid enough to follow.

Whatever you think of Vino, the man smells a crosswind/break in the group better than anyone.

Wiggins FTW tomorrow and yellow
Evans 30 odd secs behind

Be a good test to see if Gesink can still TT also.

He's been totally crappy so far this Dauphiné. Unless he's just taking it easy for the time trial(which is possible) I don't see him win.

Sometimes you don't need excuses. Sometimes you just suck. That simple.

I have been dissin' martin all season, his climbing anyway. But I think he just sat up today. Or he just sucked.

But It isn't unusual for a TTr to suck in mountains / hills then to own a tt the next day anyway.

Martin just came from an altitude training camp, what explains his poor form, i also wouldnt expect too much from him tomorrow.

He still has the best odds for tomorrow IMO.

Garmin-Cervelo also needs some attention today. They started the split...but achieved nothing else than a top 50 on the stage, and their GC leader even lost more time.

Yeah, huge fail today.

Could be, like I said(didn't watch the race, but he lost a lot of time.).

But didn't Martin had GC hopes in this Dauphiné(and Tour)? So you'd expect him to test him self out in the mountains to see where he stands(because unlike someone like Gesink, he doesn't know where he stands in the mountains as he's never given GC a serious try in the Tour)

In my opinion, I think he just sucks right now. I'm going for Wiggins at the time trial.

Vino seems pretty determined to make this tour a special one tho. He has big ambitions, but yeah, Vino will always be Vino so his attacks would be unsurprising, unforunately for him however his climbing (mountains) hasn't blown anyones mind for a long time anyway so I'm not sure wiggo will lose it there. Maybe if VdB chases the victory it could mean wiggans droppage.

VDB already has big time. Vino for sure will. I believe cadel will just follow wheels. Im getting a big greedy hoping for cadel to go for the GC win. however a bit scared about his form in the mountains after the volta a catalunya. Im very sure cadel will get a top 10 in tomorrows TT otherwise i would be pretty ****ed.

Wow. Wiggins actually decreased his advantage over Evans and Vino by 6 seconds. He finished 13th. Impressive.

damn morabito lost time again. His form has been bad. Will get to know more in the mountians and TT. was much better at romandie, trentino and california. Dont know why he is not at switzerland.

I bet he is doing his job- rest take it easy and support when required.

Relax alittle.

I think Steve Morabito will come in 3 or so minutes behind on the ITT tomorow, save energy .

Wiggins will be 1 or 2 tomorrow. The only factor remains Martin and he's an enigma.

I don't know where I read it, but I remember Vino saying he was going for stage wins and a yellow jersey(but has no hopes of bringing it home to Paris). So I think he can afford a very good Dauphiné if those are his real goals. But could be just messing with everyone and try for the victory anyway. Although I expect him to be aggressive in the first week of the Tour together with Phil.

Would love for Vino to win this stage race. 12 years after his first win, epic.

Which suits Degenkolb as much as it does Hagen, unless the climb is 3/4/5km, which it isn't

Shocking is it not. Best form since 2009. He could actually top20 in July this year.

I'll save you some stress, evans will probably win here or podium.

But fail at crunch time (tour mountains) .

:p

regarding morabito, he is a domestique. Losing minutes is part of the gig, stress less :)

Thought BMC would have wanted morabito to go for the GC too but really think he should have gone to suisse where there are not much contenders for the GC and its his home race. Plus he would have been the sole GC leader of BMC. But yes he has one heck of a job for cadel in the mountains.

I want the win in the dauphine:D. As i know evans cant do so well in the tour. Morabito is good enough to be a gc rider in one week stage races. But he has no choice here as they put him together with evans.

Hi guys

He was always gonna be good on this finish, not sure why so many doubted him.

@ el pickle.
I think he has no hope afor the overall at tour, simply doesn't have it in the mountains. Yellow jersey and stage wins seem appropiate, your boy is his biggest hurdle tho. STill to do that, you gotta be at the top of your game.

I'd liek to see vino win here also, a nice stage race in his last season.
