Exactly!! I saw it all, he lost the pace then blamed the wheel, when he finally got a new bike (mind you, after taking a nice 30 s break) he could not pick up the pace anymore, and Basso's group chased him down. We'll see what happen later on...

I just lost a lot of respect for him for doing that

evans showed class yesterday but, hey he will always be evans, the chickenhearted coward

Andy's tactics today are weird

If he rides with Contador Andy can win the Tour:confused:

Andy may have burnt most of his matches yesterday?

Versus just showed L-T team car with Kin Andersen begging Frank to stay strong and stay with Evans, "you've been good before, you'll be good again.

OH NO!!!
ANDY IS NOT RIDING WITH AC--- FOR FRANK"S PODIUM SPOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because either:

1) He's tired from yesterday and doesn't have the energy.

or 2) This is a desperate move much like Andy's yesterday, and Andy isn't desperate anymore.

There is no reason for Andy to put in an effort. He is in the box seat. If Contador works hard, and blows up, Andy can go.

But to work, and risk blowing up and losing time to Contador would be silly.

what people fail to realise (or ignore) is Evens is not esplosive but more a grider who will grind his way back rather than use quick explosive pace to counter quickly....

hes capable of pulling this back in the decent...if he can is another question

Which descent? Telegraph descent is 4k, you would be lucky to make 10 seconds. Galibier descent is a different story but who knows what the time gap will be at the top?

Why didn't Andy ask Alberto to neutralize? :D

No... Andy may be a great racer.. he's a tiny, tiny, tiny person.

*Of course they should ride, just the hypocrisy is dripping in oddles out of his mouth.

AS working!

Makes me scared a little.

Dear Alberto,

Your best chance to podium and get the stage is to stay with Andy until the last bit of the Alpe!
PLEASE DON'T DROP HIM!!

Signed,

Jobiwan :D

Everybody realizes that. But he's not grinding his way back today.

Alberto thinking, WTF, why isn't he dropping after yesterday.

Until half a minute ago, I lost respect for Andy again, not helping, and even asking the others to help him catch up with Alberto.

Like Dennis Ritter just said: "There's only two possible explanations, stupidity, or he can't."

But I think Kim Andersen just had a little chat with Andy. ;)

Something tells me after today's stage Andy and Alberto might go back to best buddies again ;)
