As for who wears the jerseys tomorrow, Cadel will wear green.

I don't believe anyone will wear the polka, as Gilbert was the only one to get points. He now has a one point lead over everyone else.

I think everyone should get that didn't finish inside 19secs should get 19secs and the spectator who caused the initial crash should be taken out and shot in the head. It would not hurt because they obviously have no brains.

A little harsh?

Still, what that guy did was uncalled for. Hope it was just an accident.

There is this. Unlike the guys who crashed in the last few km they had a lot more time to get organized and at least limit the damage.

The guys in the first crash had to get back up and sprint immediately.

The guys in the second crash had a good 20 minutes till the time limit. They could have walked their bikes up to the top.

Of course, since EE was the only team that chased, they are going to suffer even more in the ttt tommorow.

I really hope it starts raining heavy after they start.

Also remember the guys that were involved in the first crash were held up by the second crash. The gap stabilized at 30-40 seconds before the last 2km and in that second crash we saw cars stopping, riders falling all over the road and suddenly group 2 and 3 melted together at the finish line at more than a minute.

It would be very unfair if the first crash group lost more time because of the second crash whereas that same 2nd crash group won't have any damage.

SO Contador and Samu will definetly be further behind. I hope Euskatel don't do too badly in the ttt, Samu is going to have a tough time as it is.

Plenty more stages where crosswinds will be evident where time can be gained and lost.

From what I saw the spectator was standing a little bit close to, but not on the road, when the first bit of the peleton passed the spectator looked to the front and one of the Astana's didn't look ahead of himself and ran into the spectator. Considering the fact the spectator didn't move and about 1/3 of the peleton went past no problem I think the Astana is at least as much at fault.

Uran caught behind the first crash. So much for your white jersey bet, Ryo.

Glad to see the race organisers getting it right this time. This makes the race MUCH more interesting. I hope Contador crashes again tomorrow.

If it was Andy caught behind the crash a new ASO rule about how crashes caused by spectators mean same time for everyone, would be about to get passed.
