lol, whut? Hushovd is any DS's dream - nice guy, versatile and strong, you would have to be insane not to want him on your team.

Rumour that the driver of the car which hit Johnny was Nicole from the Renault Clio ad.

Lol yeah, the equivalent of a reckless white van man driver but wearing a dress and high heels.

And older and a great lead out guy for the kids and Ballan will not be riding next year I would bet

Farrar dropped before Cav! His form has not seemed great since he won his stage.
too small base after not training for a month after WW died. He then trained hard to be in shape, but the base form is gone

Ive just take this from another forum I go on. They were saying the wattages that are being produced today was silly and:

I've heard that on a flat stage if you stay in the peloton you only output an average of ~80 watts. So nearly any club cyclist could comfortably stay in the bunch.

Hincapie's retiring at the end of this season, no? And after all the troubles, I'd be surprised if Ballan was still racing with BMC next season.

The gap keeps on coming down, with HTC-Highroad pulling the peloton along, followed by BMC.

wtf for?? madness, the should let the other sprint teams do this. They really will run out of steam well before the end...

That is kind of like the Cavendish vs Cancellara thread we had a while ago. In theory, yes. If you had a straight, wide, flat road, and you let a club rider sit in the middle of the pack while it slowly sped up to 45/50kmph then they could probably hang on for a good few hours. If, however, you did that on a real course with things like corners and small rolling hills, the club cyclist would be burned off in a matter of minutes.

Ferminal - I think the title of 'moderator' implies you are draconian. People do need to realise your authority of course but maybe a title of 'Guru' or something similar would be a bit fluffier ??

Can you please provide any visual documentation of his wheelsucking? Not this years P-R as he was locked down by his own team... :)

So assuming this finishes in a bunch sprint with all the sprinters including Cavendish in there ... if you're Omega Pharma Lotto .... do you have Greipel leading out Gilbert or do you let Greipel do his own sprint ?

Personally I'd let Greipel do his own thing

If Cavendish is up there in the end it could be a pointless question, but I think Greipel is the better bet.
