Funny how people always seem to assume that an ex-mtber is automatically a good downhiller

Peraud was also MTB right? He sucks at downhills...
Evans never has been spectacular in downhills either.

thank you

Anybody but Thor or Tony Martin to win the stage. Both teams have enough stage wins in the Tour, no need to be greedy.

I've seen evans do many more average descents then good ones.
And I can't say I've ever seen him tear it up going down hill.

He is not bad, but average is about right.

Funny how MTB'ers are nearly always very good bike handlers.

Evans has never had to be spectacular on descents. That's not the same as saying he's not a good descender.

I guess you missed his little effort in descending in last year's Giro

Game over it looks like it, break can recover a bit and still have the gap go out. Not sure if any team wants to get organised, if it gets over 4 minutes they are home.

Can't think who other than OPL will have the desire and/or strength to bring it back.

cioni, posthuma, rasmussen, evans, miguel martinez
