I've seen evans do many more average descents then good ones.
And I can't say I've ever seen him tear it up going down hill.

He is not bad, but average is about right.

Game over it looks like it, break can recover a bit and still have the gap go out. Not sure if any team wants to get organised, if it gets over 4 minutes they are home.

Funny how MTB'ers are nearly always very good bike handlers.

Evans has never had to be spectacular on descents. That's not the same as saying he's not a good descender.

Yes Evans has done good descends. He also has done very bad ones where he lost contact with the favorites.

1 good descend doesn't make you a good downhiller.

and bike handling has nothing to do with great downhilling, boom is fantastic bike handler but average downhiller
