No, I didn't. I just hate it that for the last 60 km we already knew the break won. Turned an exciting stage into a non stage very quickly. Especially with names like Hushovd and EBH in the break... There's just no point in watching anymore.

I bet if gilbert was in there you wouldn't be complaining.

Some of you guys...

Flat stages suck, breakaways suck, MTF finishes suck unless all the GC contenders kill themselves and even then they suck unless someone had an EPO rocket strapped to his bike, ardennes style stages suck, ITTs suck, TTTs suck.

What a bunch of suckers.

Bike racing is a diverse sport, take pleasure in that diversity

morons.

If Rojas, Gilbert, Hushovd, EBH, Goss and Samu Sanchez were in the break I wouldn't be complaining, no.

If Gilbert was in the break with a bunch of nobodies I would find it lame as well.

Is that the same sense in which it's used in English? Only, in English it isn't slang: So-and-so is a crack marksman? Evans is a crack descender?

Diverse? How is it diverse when nothing ever happens like on Luz Ardiden, Plateau de Beille, flat stages? It's that what people hate. Not the type of stages.

This stage was fun for 40km or so. Better than nothing I suppose.

pfft, I for one don't mind seeing some lesser names duke it out.
Yes ebh and hushovd are there but it isn't a certainty that they will win. It will be a dangerous and quick finish. I am not convinced.

Ths Spanish expression I associate with Ronaldo is "ful de Estambul".

If they stay on their bike there's no way one of them will lose.

I think Skippy deserves a lot of credit probably the same chance as Evans has now.

I started watching le tour in 1995 so its the best chance Ive ever seen at anyrate

back onto the race, the weather could make things very insteresting towards the end of the race

The question is can Martin and the others get away on the climb?

I think they'll all be looking to Hushovd and they'll regret it when Thor lets Hesjedal go up the road on the climb!!

RYDER FTW!!

(1,000 posts for me, cool :p)

don't be so sure.
riders are some what fresh here, this is not as predictable as you suggest.
The fact no one will want to enter the sprint with them should make for a good finish.

How exactly is a break including people like Hushovd, EBH, Hesjedal and Martin "a bunch of nobodies"? Not to mention the Tour's most attacking rider, Roy.
Because some people are never happy, that's why. Just ignore them and enjoy the great racing.
