Some really daft and hectic racing, playing into Phil Gil's hands.
FDJ screw up the only potential break of the day, so far.

Maybe something is forming now. Not before time, if it sticks.

Never won a Worlds (junior, u23 or senior) prior to Mendrisio, always choked didn't he? Only World Cups.

Of course, just factual corrections service :p His skills are probably good but he's too conservative I think.

that doesn't say anything rasmussen was world champion mtb and also wasn't a great downhiller

Funny how people always seem to assume that an ex-mtber is automatically a good downhiller :rolleyes:

Peraud was also MTB right? He sucks at downhills...
Evans never has been spectacular in downhills either.
