Confirms everything everyone says about the guy. Total wussy.

Let me translate "stages like that require that I wear big girl panties, and I don't have any big girl panties"
That man had to told by the fans he would be so sure to get laid , He got caught when he wasn't wearing any . big or small ones.

"Leipi" has never attacked in the Tour that I can recall and rarely if ever in Europe. He saves all of his attacks against domestic riders and World/Pro Tour riders that are at a U.S. stage race for the training miles, beaches and babes.

This is for the most part true about the US races, but I do recall him and Contador counterattacking Rasmussen on the stage to the Ausbique, which Rasmussen ended up winning anyways. That is the only one in his 11-12 Tours that I recall.

Also once in the Tour of 2006, but he was sorta out of contention for the GC at that point.

Now the Schlecks really need to attack. I hope they're better in the mountains, so Cadel will crack. Contador then beats the Schlecks in the time trial and voila: the Giro-Tour double!

But I'm afraid he'll lose the Tour by less than 1.40 minutes... Either way, he has proven the Giro-Tour double is possible and I hope he does the Tour-Vuelta double next year if he's not banned.

Hated the fact that Thor won. These stages used to present a chance for the lesser riders to get themselves a chance of the win after spending so much time working for the big names. There have been very few chances for a break to even get away and now Hushovd has decided to take two of those opportunities away from them as well.

Not Thor's fault, and the other breakaway riders today are somewhat stupid for having worked with him to begin with, but I'm really hating that the domestiques and smaller riders aren't getting their chance this tour.

Terpstra said that he didn't want to go to the Tour again. Only sprinters, climbers or time trialists win stages. Attackers have no chance at all.

He's right and that's a shame. I do think the teams of the attackers are partly to blame for this.

Haha, Red Flanders, but methinks you may be doing a grave injustice to that mouse in the pink tutu. Recall seeing it when on "kid minding" duties, and I seem to recall that mouse showed dedication & a capacity to keep at it ..... compare that to AS's whine session.

Talented rider but have got to agree; LT management need to stop "enabling" this mindset of his. Everyone else was racing under the same conditions as he was; those who "put in" reaped the rewards.

My sincere apologies for damaging the reputation of Angelina Ballerina. :D

If he does win... I really wish he'd ride the Vuelta.

Why not try for the triple? I know he'd be tired... but the opportunities to do that won't come around that often. So what if he finishes 5th or 6th... nobody would think less of him. And if he wins he hits a level near Eddy.

I have to grit my teeth during the 'Phil and Paul' commentary on the ITV 4 coverage but sometimes Boardman and Imlach catch the mood just right. Tonight Boardman describe Andy S as 'throwing his dolly out of the pram' after his whine about the route. Also the other night Imlach said that when Riis "talks the whole world listens...and then nods off".

Levi attacked at Plateau de Beille 2007. True story :D

It was an Andy like attack though.

The personal denigration of the Schleck's is getting a bit out of hand. Saying that Andy needs girl panties or pink tutu's while sitting in front of your computer watching him do something you are totally incapable of doing? Really? He's a thousand times the athlete and cyclist you or I or any of us will ever be. Who cares if he whines once in a while? He's still a kid, he's under enormous pressure, he's frustrated, he had a bad day, of course he might say something dumb. Contador has, too. So has Evans. So has every other pro cyclist out there.

All of these guys deserve respect, from Voeckler on down to Bakkazakova - criticize their tactics, their rides, etc, sure, but is there really any need for the personal disparagement?

He's still a kid? The guy is 26 has ridden a ton of races and during the entire year, and last year, he has consistently whined when stuff did not go exactly his way, while ****ing on the competition. He really should know better than to behave like that, christ most people learn to behave better than that when they are still teenagers.

To hell with them I work too, and they get paid for that **** and well paid, when I go to some Downhill race as an amateur, I have to pay, brake the bloody bike, sometimes other things, and still I rarely or never use the brakes as much as those loosers.
And I've been in the special forces did they ever, THEY'RE PUSSIES

Honestly the best situation would be heading into the ITT stage with the overall looking something like;

Frank
Andy +15
Basso +25
Samu +35
Cadel +45
Bertie +1:15

Those sort of gaps heading into an ITT could lead to possibly the most interesting and watched ITT ever.

Alas. Neither of the Schlecks want to go downhill, nor do they want to attack going uphill.

Do they think this tour should just be presented to them on a gold platter?

Well, I'll come out of the closet, and admit I used to be a Schleck fan (Andy and Fränk alike) a year ago. Partly because they were riding for Riis, partly because of this extremely talented young rider which seemed to have no end to his possibilities.

Since then I've changed my mind. Some of it might be because of the way they left Riis (and the fact they left at all), but some is also because, I think, while his ego has grown, his abilities has not.

Why everyone else is "bashing" him or whatever, I cannot say. But when I do it, it's to let him know, why he has lost a lot of status im *my* eyes, and what he needs to do to regain it. I.e. show that you *want* to win - take risks - and stop blaming everyone and everything.

But if Thor were going for green, HTC wouldn't have let him get in breaks.

I'd say wearing yellow for a week, TTT win, and 2 stage wins for Thor > Green Jersey

I fully agree. Thor in the WC stripes getting 2 stage wins plus doing the unexpected and hanging on to yellow on terrain that dictated he shouldn't have....Thor has been quite the worthy wearer of the stripes. Plus he's already won the Green Jersey in the past. The way he's ridden this year at the Tour is admirable.

Allright, I pulled the tutu. Probably too much.

I daresay I'd stick to criticizing his tactics if he'd stick to racing, not whining about the route after he gets shelled HARD on a cat 2 climb. Ever notice that it's his comments that incur him the wrath, not so much his riding? Notice that nothing is ever his fault in his view?

I'd be glad to see him man up and admit his comments were crap like Ferrar did this morning. Then I'd happily dismiss them as the heat of the moment.

We shall see. He's getting annihilated on twitter right now, the tutu was more jestful than 99% what you'll see on there.

Time to man up IMO. He's got a long record of whining.

Making faceless, personal attacks on a young man who, quite literally, risks his life on a daily basis for our entertainment, says a lot more about those making those attacks than the recipient himself.
