This is one of so many things I love about Pro Cycling - the tactics...such a complex business of actions/reactions, pre-planned & on the hoof...and today, a very elegant plot devised by Leo-pard-Trek, so far being executed to perfection...

Wonderful stuff.

The only thing gone wrong with the Leopard plan is that Andy didn't catch the leaders before the top and now Monfort will need to wait a bit.

Maybe he just figured he needs a 2 minute headstart for the descent :)

Contador has only Navarro.

What has
HERNANDEZ BLAZQUEZ Jesus
NOVAL GONZALEZ Benjamin
PORTE Richie
SÖRENSEN Chris
SÖRENSEN Nicki
TOSATTO Matteo
VANDBORG Brian
done in this tour? Great done by Riis, taking so many burned out riders from the Giro

you are seeing Riises hole team 2010 taking the pace for leopard this year (6 of riis 9 tourriders from 2010 is now on leopard)..

he first got the finansiel on place many weeks after the tour 2010 and not many riders was still on the market then.

some of them + Riis lossed frank and 2´er a world championship danish Matti breschel to Rabobank.

Voeckler leading the descent again, maybe not such a good idea after yesterday's off-road excursions?

Who said its over.

You do live in your own little world?

From what i see most of us are saying Andy probably will fail but is showing a lot of balls.

But i guess what we actually mean when we say that is that Andy is going to win and we are overjoyed because we all (the whole forum) spends every waking moment poking Cadel voodoo dolls in the hope that he will fail which will add meaning to our sad lives:rolleyes:
LOLZ0R - utter utter genius...*applauds

Evans is losing the Tour in the exact same way he did back in 2008. He should take responsibility for chasing down down, or at least keep the pace high. Instead he chooses to go on the wheel of a spent Navarro. Doesn't seem really smart to me but we'll see....

absolutely. It is actually a great tactic by Leopard Trek. Even if Andy gets pulled back, they have Frank in reserve. Smart riding.

indeed.

Hard to say if it will work, but beautifully executed by leopard.

2.15 at the top.

GO ANDY !!!
