Maybe Sky can get their little train carriage rolling today. I don't know about Swift, but Thomas isn't getting dropped on those hills, and if he can get on the front with EBH on his wheel at 600 to go, that's Sky's first stage win.

Sky seems to be having problems with their timing this Tour. Pretty much like the entire 2010 season. This year they did well though, but this Tour it's going their way yet. I'm looking forward to a win by any of those 3 you named. Specially EBH. He certainly could use an important win.

Swift should be able to be up there if Thomas is.

EBH's acceleration was very impressive yesterday - if the three of them can organise themselves and with better timing then they are very capable of taking a stage somehow.

There is so much talent there, they should be winning stages.

Don't agree, Swift wasn't up there yesterday and doesn't seem to have the form he had earlier in the season IMO. Thomas looks great at the moment though and EBH looks like he is improving as well.

I think lack of experience is perhaps a problem there. Those three are all pretty young, and all of them came to road racing (relatively) late in life. They are all strong and capable but seem to struggle with positioning in the very hectic high-speed finales you find at the Tour de France.

Roelandts (and Jeandesboz) tried to catch the 5 at the front, but now back with the bunch. After Gilbert talked to the team car. Any chance Roelandts was ordered back?

Chavanel did try to escape a couple of minutes ago but didn't succeed. He's apparently alright. The stages in the weekend probably suits him better though

Chavanel should wait for Saint Flour. If he keeps himself high up on gc he could get yellow and a stage there.

kanari - he should be up there on a stage like this as he is pretty good at getting over the hills - doesnt mean he will be.

jamsque - Geraint did an excellent job of dropping Cav off in the right place yesterday - maybe they are practising

With Flecha and Gerrans too, Sky really should be looking to be getting a stage win on some of these stages.

Wiggo should be Ok with one decent minder eg Flecha.

Yeh sleeping went fine, but getting out of his bed didn't go that well :)
Then he added that it will be a rough day for him.

Obviously ofcourse.

Today is a big test, if he gets through it without time loss I will feel a bit better.

One youngster who can do well today, is Thomas.
