It would be a crying shame if the daring do of Cunego was beaten by a convicted cheat and all around boring rider like Levi.

See if we replaced Levi with Alberto or Vino then your comment would be shot down. Because it is Levi, it is alright. No need for the clinic crap in this thread.;)

He is a cheat. How do you get around that? It is a valid reason for not liking the little twerp. That he never does anything to make a race exciting does not help. Cunego being my favorite rider helps even less.

Still doesn't justify the stuff about doping in this thread. Again, are you going to whinge about Vino competing in the big races?

I am not going to dwell on it like you seem to want to.

Fine but I don't agree with your hypocritical attitude.

The Tour de Suisse are saying that the stage could take around 40 minutes to complete which is 48.15km/h. I think the profile could be making the course look harder than it is

101 18 15:45:00 VELITS Peter THR SVK
also
2 15 14:06:00 GRABSCH Bert THR GER
is second up after Bobridge first up.

Cancellara. Bergatoli, Bobridge, Bookwalter, Larsson for the stage as well as TJVG and Levi to be behind Cancellara. I am just wondering how far down Frank will drop and could Andy finish in the top 20 in the stage? Cunego to hold on by 25 seconds to Levi and Kruijswijk to come 3rd 1 minute down.

Who's Bergatoli???

Obviously The Canc ftw alongside Levi & Larsson on the podium- normally I would say Klöden for second, but his form seems abysmal.

GV after today:
1. Cunego
2. Leipheimer
3. Fuglsang
4. Kruijswijk
5. Mollema
6. Schleck
7. Van Garderen
8. Frank
9. Ten Dam
10. Caruso

The last three is a cointoss, could go anyway. Would love for Tommy D to enter the top10, but it seems very unlikely.

Remember Klöden had one of the best split-times in the prologue, don't think he has been going full throttle the past couple of mountain stages.
He could be up there today.

1. Cancellara
2. Leipheimer
3. Van Garderen
4. Klöden
5. Larsson

Unfair LeoTrek

any thoughts on Rabobank calling Leopard-Trek unfair after riding hard on the front after Bauke's flat??

Bergatoli is a swiss rider in team type 1. Starting to believe TJVG could come 2nd.

I actually had to look up who you were talking about - I guess you mean Bertogliati? And NO WAY is he going to podium today, even a top10 seems unlikely in this company.

And I also think people are putting too much faith in TJVG's time trial abilities. Granted, he's among the better ones in the GC (only Levi and Fuglsang are better/on par), but with riders like Fabian, Larsson, Klöden, Leipheimer, Chavanel, Grabsch and Bobridge as competition he'll be lucky to break top5 today.

Discussed endlessly in the stage thread from yesterday - let's not go there again.

I recon we will be able to see how Andy going after today- if it does not rain he will want to put in an effort to see where he is against the clock.

I do think that Andy is Bluffing he form is off. Cali maybe got him over confident of where he is at.

go frank get a top 10 on GC. Btw BMC said that frank had a 10 second penalty on stage 7 for improper mechanical assistance so he dropped from seven to ninth.

anyone think grabsch, or bookwalter can get a top 5 or top 10 on the stage?
I would love to see those two guys do well tomorrow

Hope Grabsch can have a good one today seeing as it's his birthday also TJVG so he can move up the order. Also hoping Cunego can hold onto yellow after the great performance he's put in all week. And just to be really nasty all Leopard Trek get mechanical's/bad luck after yesterday's dubious motives.

Lol, Bobridge... if he beats Tejay I'll eat my laptop.

Theres no reason why Andy should put in anything but a horrid tt today.

Care to explain ?

Every other GT rider will want to test equipment, position etc before TDF - most did in France last week - except your beloved of course.

I think Andy needs to put in a good time, but what are your reason why Andy needs tp not worry about the ITT.

Contador and the rest know Andy like Gesink have improved and worked on their ITT so doing a horrid time will not be any info for them I don´t think
